GW Rule #32

To one that is your equal, or not much inferior you are to give the chief place in your lodging and he to who ‘is offered ought at the first to refuse it but at the second to accept though not without acknowledging his own unworthiness

PEEVES

Offer the best spot in the dog house for the guest. Try to work it out respecting everybody’s needs.

MADAMA

For a guest, offer the best bedroom as the host. As a guest, turn it down and then accept without arguing you don’t deserve it.

SANDRA

Try to be a considerate host without hurting anybody’s feelings.
