A little modesty goes a long long way.

I think what George is saying is to be fully dressed before going out in public or as a guest. Think about how you dress when going on errands, to public events, and to the airport. Always dressing only for personal comfort means nothing is ever a special event and it’s how you’re presenting yourself to the world. It also sets up how the world will respond to you.
